Please join us Friday, October 24th at 6:30pm as we step back in time for our second “Colonial Tavern Dinner” at Chateau MerrillAnne. Paying tribute to a tavern dining experience in Colonial Williamsburg you can expect the ambiance of candle light, a delicious dinner inspired by 18th century tavern recipes and the sounds of tavern music. True to tavern tradition diners will be seated in one of three different rooms. Each room will have 3 or 4 tables, some private, for the lovebirds, and some public, perfect for socializing and making friends.
Chef Rob Zipprian has taken traditional 18th century recipes, tweaked them with 21st century culinary magic and produced this incredible three course dinner. It will truly be a tribute to our colonial Virginia roots.

FIRST COURSE
GINGERED PUMPKIN SOUP
Served with molasses cream.
MAIN COURSE
SMOKED AND SEARED LAMB CHOP WITH CHIMICHURI
Served with roasted baby potatoes and collard greens braised with pork, bacon and onion.
DESERT COARSE
PEACH COBBLER
Served warm with hints of lemon, nutmeg and raisins.
This immersive dining experience is just $65 plus tax ($60 for Members of the Marquis Society) and includes 1 glass of wine (your choice from wine menu). Additional wine is available for purchase throughout the evening.
