Please join us on Friday, March 20th, at 6:30pm as we step back in time for our second “Colonial Tavern Dinner” at Chateau MerrillAnne. Paying tribute to a tavern dining experience in Colonial Williamsburg, you can expect the ambiance of candlelight, a delicious dinner inspired by 18th century tavern recipes, and the sounds of tavern music. True to tavern tradition, diners will be seated in one of three different rooms. Each room will have 3 or 4 tables, some private, for one on one time, and some public, perfect for socializing and making friends. Please arrive at 630 for greeting and seating. The first course is served at 7.

Chef Rob Zipprian has taken traditional 18th century recipes, tweaked them with 21st century culinary magic, and produced this incredible three-course dinner. It will truly be a tribute to our colonial Virginia roots.

FIRST COURSE
Onion Soup Au Gratin
Classic onion soup topped with cheeses and herbs.

SECOND COURSE
Pot Roast of Beef.
An open fire-seared roast of beef, braised with Palace Red wine. Served with tri-color potatoes, onions, carrots, and celery.

DESERT COURSE
Traditional Sweet Potato Pie.
Topped with Brandy Whipped Cream.

This immersive dining experience is just $74 plus tax ($69 for Members of the Marquis Society) and includes 1 glass of wine (your choice from the wine menu). Additional wine is available for purchase throughout the evening. This event only happens twice a year, so take advantage of this opportunity to relax and enjoy a unique candle lit event.
