Join us for a relaxed and engaging evening of history, community, and friendly competition at History on the Rocks, a special trivia night hosted by The James Madison Museum of Orange County Heritage in partnership with Virginia Foothills Distillery & Co.

This event is part of the Virginia 250 (VA250) Commemorative initiative, marking the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution and Virginia’s central role in the founding of the nation. The evening blends local history with local spirits in a setting designed to be welcoming, social, and fun.

Bourbon and distilled spirits

A few unexpected historical surprises

Players are welcome to participate as individuals or teams. Come with a group, play solo, or join up with new friends you meet during the evening—this event is designed to be inclusive and social.

Admission is free. Donations are welcome and directly support the James Madison Museum’s mission to preserve and share Orange County’s history. A 50/50 raffle will also be held during the event.
