Chateau MerrillAnne is honored to be the official producer of the Signature wines for the 90th running of the Montpelier Races. And on Saturday, October 18th we will be releasing them as we celebrate the upcoming race. The white is Viognier, our state signature white, done in a traditional style that absolutely screams VIRGINIA! The red is Virginia’s most planted red grape, Cabernet Franc, again done in a classic style. Both are adorned in a label decorated by this year’s incredible custom artwork that was painted by artist Lesley Humphrey, are incredibly delicious AND are available for a limited time!! A portion of every bottle sale goes to support the Montpelier Hunt Races. We hope you will be able to come out and support both the Montpelier Races and Chateau MerrillAnne. We will have Zippy’s Smokeshack BBQ on site from 12 to 5, Stephen will be in the Tiki bar mixing incredible wine cocktails and serving both wine and sangria and we will have one of our favorite vendors here for a “pop up”, Fleece and Sparkle!! It’s going to be a great fall day!
