The community is invited to gather for a special evening event in honor of Veterans Day. Guests will take in the glow of luminaries lining the walkways of the Historic Germanna Visitor Center, each recognizing the name of a veteran and their service. A short program featuring guest Bill Shugarts will lead attendees in remembering ancestors, loved ones and friends. Mr. Bill Shugarts is a Vietnam veteran and co-founder of Fawn Lake Veterans, Wilderness Community Church Veterans and Tabernacle UMC Veterans.
