James Madison’s Montpelier Excavate side-by-side with Montpelier’s expert archaeology staff through the Piedmont clays that make the region’s archaeology and wine internationally known. The program includes hands-on experiences with wine related artifacts, special lectures, behind-the-scenes tours of Montpelier, Barboursville Vineyard, and all meals and tastings.
