SUMMARY:50th Annual Somerset Steam and Gas Pasture Party
DESCRIPTION:The Somerset Steam & Gas Engine Association’s 50th Annual Pasture Party will take place on September 11\, 12\, and 13\, 2026\, at 14349 Blue Ridge Turnpike (Rt. 231) in Somerset\, VA. This year’s featured exhibit is “The Workhorse\,” celebrating the power and history of these incredible machines.\n\nThe event will feature live music\, an antique car and tractor show\, steam engine plowing\, a blacksmith shop\, hit-and-miss engines\, sawmill and oil rig displays\, and various demonstrations throughout the weekend.\n\nThere will be a great food court\, flea markets\, crafts\, and vendors. Our famous steam-cooked beans will be served daily.\n\nEvent hours:Friday and Saturday: 8 am to duskSunday: 8 am to 3 pm\n\nGate Donation: $15.00/day per person. Exhibitors and Children under 12 are FREE!\nFREE Parking and FREE Shuttle service from the Parking Lot to Show Grounds.\n\nNo ATM on site.
