AREA 129 Halloween at The Arts Center in Orange
Spooky Season is here, and The Arts Center is celebrating with an immersive, Alien-themed Halloween party on Friday, October 28th! This will be a crash landing like no other, with out-of-this-world characters and local brews. Underglaze Transfer Workshop with Stephen Palmer
This workshop with artist Stephen Palmer is a fun way to add surface design to your ceramic work. In this workshop you will learn about two different types of transfers. The first is using a stencil to create a pattern and the second is free form. You will need several completed leather hard pieces on which to apply the transfers. Come and explore something new! Richard is an internationally-recognized artist who has been featured on NPR, lectured at prestigious universities and art schools around the world, has created designs for the US Mint (including the 2016 Fort Moultrie quarter) and was recognized as an Associate Living Master by the Art Renewal Center.
