Stop by Round Hill Farm for fun for the whole family! Meet cute critters at the petting zoo and pony rides, adventure through corn and hay bale mazes, and take a hayride to the pumpkin patch. Grab a tasty bite to eat from a variety of vendors and stop by the country store for a sweet treat!

Visit Oakland Heights Farm to ride on horseback through the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Travel the same routes that Thomas Jefferson and James Madison did centuries ago and pass through Civil War campsites and battlegrounds!

If you’re looking for a unique adventure or outing stop by Rounton Farm for guided hunting, skeet shooting, and toasty campfires. Retreat to the farm cottage for a peaceful weekend getaway with garden views and access to walking trails on the farm.

Visit the Market at Grelen to experience a European style garden shop with over 6 miles of walking trails, and beautiful mountain views. Pick up pumpkins, gourds, and pies at the shop this fall season. Stop by the casual café serving farm to table lunches Wednesdays through Sundays.

Fall Harvest Festival | October 18^th  | 11am-3pm

Experience a day of Autumn fun at Darnell’s Garden Patch! Enjoy hot apple cider, apple donuts, pumpkin painting, music, and adoptable dogs all to benefit the Orange County animal shelter. Phantom Fest – October 17^th, 18^th, 24, 25^th, 30^th, 31^st, November 1^st

Come experience the largest haunted attraction in Central Virginia featuring the House of Phantom, the Phantom’s Trail, an escape room, live music, carnival rides, and themed refreshments. Salubria Oktoberfest + History Faire | October 18^th | 10am-4pm

Historic Germanna offers a variety of programs including outdoor recreation, archeology, and genealogy and provides many ways to experience the little-known parts of Virginia’s History. This October visit Salubria, a part of Historic Germanna, to be immersed in living history demonstrations and historical reenactors including blacksmiths, spinners, and weavers, dancers, musicians and many more historic tradespeople.
