Fall Fun in Orange County, VA!

Can you smell the pumpkin spice? Fall is in the air in Orange County, Virginia, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for the chill. From corn mazes to festivals, Orange County has plenty to offer when it comes to celebrating autumn.

Liberty Mills Farm Corn Maze

The largest corn maze this side of the Mississippi, Liberty Mills Farm corn maze clocks in at a massive 33 acres. Lucky for the directionally challenged, Liberty Mills divides the maze into 4 separate trails so you can choose your own adventure. Will you test your wits with the trivia maze or test your determination with the hole punch maze? Maybe you’ll even dare to try the flashlight maze after dark! Liberty Mills also offers hay rides, pumpkin picking, and a farm market, so if you prefer to do your mazes on paper you’re still in for a good time. The maze is open through November 11, so get your family, besties, or coworkers together for this “farmtastic” adventure.

Fall Fiber Festival & Montpelier Sheep Dog Trials

What’s better on a cool fall day than fleece and wool? The 32nd Annual Fall Fiber Festival features workshops, displays, animal exhibits, sheep dog trials, hands-on demonstrations, a fleece sale, fiber and crafts vendors, music and more! This event is held on the grounds of James Madison’s Montpelier and begins October 5th on the same day as the Gordonsville Fall Festival, so why not enjoy both? The fun continues Sunday, October 6th. Come on out and celebrate this Orange County tradition!

Orange County is simply stunning, especially in the fall. Come for the events, stay for the pick-your-own farms, walking trails, skydiving, or golf—there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy nature’s beauty during autumn in Orange County.
